This collection aims to explore how hip-hop evolved during the 2010s, both musically and culturally. The 2010s were a pivotal time for the genre, characterized by the blending of subgenres, the rise of social justice themes, and the democratization of music through digital platforms. My zine creates a visual narrative that highlights these key moments and trends, focusing on the albums that shaped the decade and my personal favorites. Music has always driven me as an artist and person, so when the booklet opens, I designed a poster featuring my favorite 2010s hip-hop albums, overlaid with photos of moments that remind me of certain songs.
